Colorado Chapter

I went to a cupcake baking class.  We made AMAZING cupcakes.  My group made the one in the middle- Lemon Curd Cupcakes with Lemon Whipped Cream Frosting, topped with lemon zest, made from scratch.  I made the lemon curd with lemon juice, zest, butter and eggs. Some shaved chocolate off of huge blocks to make the chocolate cupcakes (and the chocolate buttercream frosting).  Others made the caramel from sugar, cream and butter. You catch my drift. They were so good.

More Winter Park

John, Miles and I went back to Winter Park a few weeks later.

Once again, we took turns with baby duty.  When it was my turn I took Miles for a stroll around the parking lot.  I promise it was much warmer than it looks!

If you look closely you can see a snowboarder coming back down to the lot.  I made it to within 15 feet of our car before I had to start walking!  Next time we go we are bringing our camp stove and burgers.  

I got a little bored in the car and started snapping photos.  I like this one.

Winter Park

I started working about a month and a half ago and my blog has been suffering. I am going to get caught up. These are really old but I still thought I should post them.

My parents and Rob and Christal came up in early March for a long weekend. We went to Winter Park and enjoyed some spring skiing.
