A Weekend of Bouldering: Redcliff and Redstone

Sun, dirt, and water. Does life get any better than this?

Yes! If you add in some boulders!

Shane, John and Miles (and a very flattering shot of Champ)

Getting climbing lessons from Daddy

I love having two spotters!

"Piking" to the boulders on day 2- for some reason Miles won't say hiking

Mr. Sean Adams

With so many people, I even got to climb!

Vacation Mania

He's a climber!

Miles and I went to Oklahoma for a lovely weekend.
I was so happy to see this was still around...
(Chisholm, anyone?)

Back in Boulder County at the fair

We camped in Iowa on our way to Wisconsin. There was a playground right across from our campsite. It was perfect!

With Gramma on the pontoon

The North Woods

They have an amazing zoo. The animals are all quite tame. Miles was excited about the goats.

Feeding the bear, yes you read that right, feeding the bear.

And the deer

And the parakeets

Oh, and did I mention he's a climber?

Miles in the Mountains

We went up into the hills west of town...

All that effort can wear you out!

New York City!

My mom and I just returned from an amazing trip to NYC.

Central Park

Miles was a big help at the airport...

Miles has a new obsession... Taxis!

One of the main things I wanted to do in NYC was to eat at a raw food restaurant. We went to Pure Food and Wine, a vegan restaurant where nothing is cooked over 118 degrees in order to preserve enzymes and nutrients in the food. Plus there is so much creativity and delicious-ness involved!

Miles loved the cashew "sour cream." I'm pretty sure he thought he was eating yogurt (with cilantro)!

Dessert- Raw Vegan Strawberry Ice Cream and an "Oreo."

Another one of Miles' latest obsessions- Curious George.

I love this statue, and all the art in NYC. There were sculptures everywhere!

I think we kept Miles out a bit too late. He looks delirious (but happy)!

The primary objective of my trip was the chance to attend a live class at my school, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Amy and Michelle- also from Colorado- met me there.

Miles loved the subway choo-choo.

He has started saying "cheese." Now if I could just get him to consistently look at the camera...
